While was passing through the USA’s seventh biggest city of United States, I was quite taken away by the city’s unique mixture of contemporary and classic architecture. And after visiting the classic landmarks like the Alamo, one certainly is amazed by the workers who are engaged in San Antonio Coatings and San Antonio sandblasting of the freshly built and under construction buildings of the city. United States has the honor of being the land with world’s first skyscraper, the Home Insurance building in Chicago. • Willis Tower Chicago: If the name doesn’t ring a bell, then allow me to remind you that it was formerly known as Sears towers. Built in 1973, it was the tallest skyscraper of the world and currently is fifth tallest of the world. But in United States, this huge 108 story high structure stands at 1451 feet and is the country’s tallest so far.

• Trump International Hotel and Tower: And if you got it right, the structure is actually named after Donald Trump. The skyscraper is a 92 story tall condo hotel reaching 1389 feet. This structure is currently world’s eleventh tallest skyscraper. Another amazing fact about this structure is that it was planned to be constructed as the tallest building of US, but following the terrorist attacks on world Trade Centre, the plan was dropped and scaled down.

• Empire State building: and if you are wondering why isn’t there a person who hasn’t heard of this this name than allow us to remind you that this building has kept the title of world tallest building from 1931 to 1972. An unbelievable 40 years record. The skyscraper has a different and classic architecture and is now the tallest building in New York after the 9/11 crash. 1250 feet high structure is America’s third tallest skyscraper and world’s fifteenth on the list.

• The Bank of America Tower: Apart from being the second tallest skyscraper in the New York City, it is also the World’s most eco-friendly skyscraper. The eco-friendly system has a whole floor to ceiling insulating glass and the greywater system, which preserves and reuses the rainwater. The tower also incorporates a daylight dimmer system.

• Stratosphere Las Vegas: the tallest structure in Las Vegas is essentially the fifth tallest in United States but there are some arguments as to keep it in the list of skyscraper or not. This structure is basically an observation tower which is not fully inhabitable up to top floor. The remaining portion works as a hotel and casino.

For this work, metal wire, or something similar, is melted and then sprayed wherever it is needed through a high pressure sprayer. Coats can be built up by drying between coats to make sure that the seal is both water proof and anti corrosive. After treatment, these coverings can last up to thirty years depending on the location of the structure.
