If you’ve ever contemplated selling your collectibles, you are not alone. Many people sell their collections and for many different reasons. Folks might want to start a new collection and need the space, money, or both to start it. People might also be aging and might just want to sell their collection to somebody that can take care of it after they are gone. The first thing you must do is get your items ready for sale. For instance, if you have a collection of Spartan helmets, you will need to clean them up so that they will look their best. Properly clean and if necessary, shine your items so that they look new.

Following this, you’ll want to decide how much your item is worth. Local dealers, appraisers, and market values can give you a good starting price to use when posting up your items. Proactively advertisement of your collectible should come next. Use local classifieds, newspapers, and the Internet to fully market your item for sale. You’ll gain a wide audience and save lots of money by advertising your item online for the world to see. Unprecedented Biker Helmets

By Adam, August 26, 2010 4:59 pm

The state of Pennsylvania passed a law a few years back stating that people riding motorcycles no longer need to wear a helmet while riding. The law has created a situation in which many bikers do not wear helmets at all. However, a side effect most people didn’t foresee is the amount of unique helmets people are now wearing. People can now place anything they like on top of their heads while riding.

The amount of unique biker helmets seen on the rides is truly amazing. I once saw a man wearing a Roman helmets while riding down the street. The helmet had large red plumes on top and the rest was a shiny bronze color. It really stood out and was one of the most unique biker helmets I’ve ever seen.

Although medieval helmets don’t provide the best protection for bikers, they are better than no helmet at all. The uniqueness of this helmet can be appreciated by everyone. There are many medieval helmets that you can wear while riding your bike.

For example, you could decide to wear a Gladiator arena helmet. The only note of caution is that you should get the most sturdy helmet you can find. Roman Centurion helmets, Greco Roman helmets, Gallic Centurion helmets, and Thracian helmets are all wildly unique medieval helmets you can choose from. The unique character of these helmets is very interesting.

Some of the above helmets have plumes and some do not. In addition to this you can choose a face guard thickness. Open faces are a commonality for this type of helmet making it perfect for full visibility.

You can purchase all of these helmets at www.historicalclothingrealm.com . They sell all kinds of fantastic looking medieval gear as well as a few other items you might be interested in.

When your not riding you may want to leave your helmet displayed on a nice helmet stand or shelf. You’ll have a nice display set up while your home and a nice helmet to use while your riding. Consider purchasing both your helmet stand and your helmet at the same time. This way you’ll receive both at or around the same time and you’ll never have to worry about where you will store your helmet.
